The hottest spot for Kansas City Entertainment might not be where you think. For years when you thought of Entertainment in Kansas City, the first thing to come to mind was probably the Plaza. With good reason too. The Plaza is a premier entertainment community, with beautiful New York style apartments and some of the worlds best hotels. The County Club Plaza is the definition of class, that has been years in the making. The entire Plaza experience is something everyone should do when they visit Kansas City, but is it the hottest spot for Kansas City Entertainment?

If the Country Club Plaza isn’t, then it must be Crown Center, the Crown Jewel of Kansas City?. Situated in mid town KC, Crown Center is a spectacular place with beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous towering Hotels. So surely this is the hottest spot for entertainment in Kansas City?.

OK, if not Crown Center, then where?

How about Village West and Legends Shopping Center. This sprawling complex is home to Nascar’s Kansas Speedway, and Jimmy Buffets Cheeseburger in Paradise. Sound like a strange combination?. Most of you would probably say yes, but that has become the trademark of Village West. There is so much diversity of entertainment in Village West, that you can rest assured you will not be bored when you visit here.

How many destination locations can boast of having a Nascar Racing Track, and a Schlitterbahn Water Park side by side. The entire Village West Complex is unique. There are large companies like, Nebraska Furniture Mart, owned by the second richest man on the planet, Warren Buffet. Then across the street there is hometown favorite, Arthur Bryant’s Barbeque. You can’t tell me that’s not unique.

Kansas has become a destination vacation option for many people in this region. The traffic that Village West brings in every year just cements that fact. This Kansas destination brings in over 10 million visitors a year. The entire project is the leading tourist spot for all of Kansas. Quite the accomplishment considering it’s only been in operation since 2001.
